The Church Missionary Society College in Kottayam is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in India. Started in 1817 by the Church Missionary Society of England, today CMS College continues to pursue its mission to "provide value based liberal education, without discrimination, aimed at social development."CMS College is geographically situated in the center of Kerala.
